Word Guess Strategy: Start Smart, Finish Fast
Word Guess Neon gives you six tries to find a hidden five-letter word — and the difference between struggling and streaking is almost entirely your first word.
Opening words
Strong starters pack common letters and test different positions: think words rich in E, A, R, O, T, S and L, with letters placed where they usually appear. Rotate two or three openers so you don't tunnel-vision one pattern.
Reading yellow correctly
Yellow means the letter exists but not there — and here is the trap people miss: a repeat letter can produce a yellow that "moves" while a second copy stays hidden. Track positions on paper if needed; the neon keyboard already grays out dead letters for you.
Elimination habits
Never guess a word that ignores known information just to "test more letters" — with five rows and a full dictionary of common words, information-guesses are only for the first two rows. From row three, every guess should be a possible answer.
Put it into practice on Word Guess Neon — six tries, common words only, on-screen keyboard included.
